GIZEH Verpackungen takes on 9 new trainees

The new annual training programme has started at GIZEH. The globally active specialist for plastic packaging continues to pursue a policy of targeted support of young people and regards it as an investment in the future.
„We rank among the quality and innovation leaders in the international business - that is why all our staff members are specialists and our most important resource”, emphasizes Jacqueline Jung, representative of the management, who welcomed the new trainees together with the training managers. “The targeted training of junior executive employees and a practice-oriented recruitment policy plays a key role in order to continue our successful work at this high level.”
The first training day started with a welcome speech by the management and a presentation of the company and its seven locations in Germany and worldwide. This was followed by a plant tour and a visit of the various different departments. At the “trainee speed dating session” the young people were able to meet the trainees from the previous years and representatives of the youth committee. The company is presently training 29 young people in various different professions.
Occupational training within the company has traditionally been of high importance at GIZEH. Many executive positions are staffed by „home-grown“ employees. After the successfully concluded training, the trainees are usually taken on permanently.
