/// Injection Stretch Blow Moulding

In injection stretch blow moulding there is a difference between single-stage and two-stage processes.

In the single-stage process, firstly a cylinder pre-form with its finished neck profile (screw thread) is moulded via the injection moulding process. It is then immediately returned to the heat to be worked on further in order to be blown and stretched into its final shape.

In the two-level process the pre-form is injected separately and only at a later point in time made into the final form in a separate stretch blow machine.  It is thus possible to work on almost all pre-forms available on the market further.

GIZEH PET operates both single-stage and two-stage processes.
